Before our trip to Pulau Perhentian we actually gone through lots of reviews and the conclusion is that PIR has the most beautiful beach but the worst food and not so idea accomodation, as we are more concern about the quality of the natural scene therefore we still choose to go to PIR. Surprisingly PIR has given me a very good impression in terms of their transfer and check-in arrangement especially their semi-suite chalet located just right in front of the beautiful beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable and with a fabulous view.
Though the snorkeling spot is not so nice compare to P. Redang but lucky we've got a very helpful and friendly boat man Azan and with his help we manage to spot and swim with a giant turtle.
Another adding point is that we can just snorkeling right in front of PIR, on the left side of PIR 10 meter away (Teluk Pauh), you can see plenty of corals, nemo (crowd fish) as well as sharks. And you can see giant turtles at the middle of the beach in front of PIR, where the sandy bottom is covered with algae.
