ourists Attractions of Limpapa, Zamboanga City
Much of the origin of Limpapa was settled by Subanos. The Subanos were chased away from the shoreline towns by the early Christian settlers and also by Datu Bantilan of Sulu. At that time, Limpapa was a safe haven for the Subanos.
There is a cave in Limpapa where some old inscription on the walls are still present. The Subanos did a lot of "kaignin" (cut and burn) style of farming. So they wandered around pretty much. Foot trails were carved out by the ancient Subanos, covering much of the entire length of the Zamboanga peninsula and became very useful to the guerrillas during the war.

Fun Philippines
The $7.1 million grant to the Philippines by the CIDA is a big stepping stone for the tourism sector of the Philippines, which will help advance the quality of tourism. More than anything because Canada has shown the initiative to give the Philippines a grant, it is setting an example for other Western nations to look into countries in Asia especially when they have so much to offer and attract millions of tourists every year.
Virgin Beach Resort
The original trip was planned last month after I posted in my Facebook wall that Mr. Ron Perry invited me to spend my weekend at Virgin Beach Resort of Daanbantayan. In return I am going to feature his resort in this blog. Eunice and Richard wanted to join so they booked airline tickets going to Cebu on that day. Unfortunately, the trip wasn't pushed through due to my bucket list of works/activities and vacation in Manila. Not to disappoint the two plus one as they have already invited Zarah (long time friend ko na pla sa FB jejeje) , I decided to change the supposed to be North Cebu Trip to South Tip of Cebuplus Negros Oriental travel Get-away!
Tourism Beach
being dedicated to tourism roads, the Philippines plans to scale up the industry towards a goal post of 10 million overseas visitors by 2016, as outlined in the National Tourism Development Plan. Internal travelers will also be boosted largely in part due to increased wealth generated for a growing middle class through the BPO sector, with domestic tourists expected to hit 56.1 million by the same year. owever, on the intoxicatingly white-sand beach of Boracay, at the center of the Philippines’ tourism nexus of tropical islands, service standards have yet to meet the splendor the land intrinsically professes.
“We go to Thailand to receive superior service, not the Philippines,” a well-heeled Filipino recently told Inside Investor.
Green Sea
Canada’s agreement to transfer the grant to the Philippines sets a precedent that Western nations now feel more comfortable investing in the infrastructure-starved nation due to its recent reward by Fitch, a move which many Philippine observers believe will be followed by S&P and Moody’s in the near future.
Through time-consistency guarantees offered by the ADB, international investors can safeguard against corrupt practices and political change, the ADB informed Inside Investor, making the multinational bank an obvious choice for administering investments into developing Asian nations with poor regulatory bodies.
Philippines Beach
The Philippine tourism industry is to receive a multi-million dollar service-oriented jolt from the Canadian government, the first major foreign investment into the country after it received its first-ever investment-grade credit rating by Fitch on March 28.
The Canadian International Development Authority (CIDA), a developmental arm of the Canadian government that provides foreign aid, has announced that it will extend a $7.1 million grant in technical assistance, with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) acting as the administering agency. The signing ceremony for the grant is taking place on April 10 in Manila, with Director Shigeko Hattori of the ADB, Mr Luke Myers of CIDA, and Department of Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez, Jr in attendance.he grant will focus its funds on the development of industry competitiveness through three key outputs over the coming four years: regulatory review, service standards and skills development – all of which the industry will need to continue the path of international credibility it has gathered.
The Philippines in recent weeks has received awards and citations for its tourism destinations from global organisations and international magazines. At the top of April, Scuba Diving Magazine named the Philippines, along with Malaysia, the best diving destination in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. During the first week of March 2013, Boracay was named the Best Beach in Asia and 24th in the world by Trip Advisor.
Palawan
Compared to Boracay’s four kilometers of sand, San Vicente’s 14 presents a curiously intoxicating charm for those wanting to discovery a placer a bit more unknown. However, San Vicente’s immense coastline has become the hottest commodity in the Philippine tourism industry at a time when Boracay is suffering from the negative affects of poor water management systems and over-commercialisation.
Sugar Beach
There can be no other beach as intrinsically endowed with the spirit of a Philippine castaway than Sugar Beach in Sipalay, Negros. With about four beach-bum bungalows run by Europeans of varying origin (though mostly German speaking), Sipalay is surely a place that is easy to get caught up in, quickly losing track of the days and weeks and months. To get to the island, a circuit of conveyances – ranging from trikes, buses and boats – have to be taken, eventually leading visitors around a cove that is lit at night by fireflies that cling onto mangroves. Such is the seclusion of the beach, that if you find yourself in a bout of rain, you will find that is it also impossible to get a coconut-based drink. Why, you may ask, only to get a nonchalant response from one of the weather-withered owners: “Coconut trees are too hard to climb if they are wet.”

The Attraction of Beach
Bauang is not a part of San Fernando, it is a town nearby San Fernando. The sand is not white, but it boasts fine grayish sand. The beach is ideal for swimming and kayaking on summer seasons. The beach is not as crowded but not on holyweek season. Resorts are situated along the 5 kilometer coast beach is dirty. people should learn to dispose their own rubbish and the council should provide rubbis bins and educate people to throw their own rubbish at the right place not everywhere. what a shame

Lovely Beach
Before our trip to Pulau Perhentian we actually gone through lots of reviews and the conclusion is that PIR has the most beautiful beach but the worst food and not so idea accomodation, as we are more concern about the quality of the natural scene therefore we still choose to go to PIR. Surprisingly PIR has given me a very good impression in terms of their transfer and check-in arrangement especially their semi-suite chalet located just right in front of the beautiful beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable and with a fabulous view.
Though the snorkeling spot is not so nice compare to P. Redang but lucky we've got a very helpful and friendly boat man Azan and with his help we manage to spot and swim with a giant turtle.
Another adding point is that we can just snorkeling right in front of PIR, on the left side of PIR 10 meter away (Teluk Pauh), you can see plenty of corals, nemo (crowd fish) as well as sharks. And you can see giant turtles at the middle of the beach in front of PIR, where the sandy bottom is covered with algae.

crystal clear
Lagen Island is tucked in a cove set among lush tropical forest, limestone walls and a crystal clear lagoon. Many attractions are accessible from the island including natural wonders such as Cudugnon Cave and Snake Island. It is one of the beautiful islands that comprise El Nido, which is often referred to as the "Philippines' Last Frontier," and one of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines.
The City of Seven Lakes
San Pablo City, located in the southern portion of Laguna province is nestled in the foothills of three mountains namely Mount Banahaw, Mount Makiling and the Sierra Madre Mountains. It is nicknamed the "City of Seven Lakes" because of the 7 crater lakes scattered around the city. These low-profile volcanic craters were formed by phreatomagmatic eruptions, an eruption where ground water comes in contact with hot magma pushing up near the Earth's surface. San Pablo City has a long history as far back as the pre-Spanish colonial period when it was officially declared as a town in 1647 by the Spanish governement.
White Sand of Alona Beach
- The powdered white sand of Alona Beach stretches one and a half kilometers and ends in rocky cliffs at both sides, offering views of its pristine waters. It is the most developed beach located southwest of Panglao Island in Bohol. Other than its scenic views, and being close to Bohol's tourist spots, the island boasts centuries-old churches, and is also a base for island hopping, dolphin watching, and diving. A relaxing day at Bohol Beach Club
The rest of the time we were in Bohol has been spent relaxing in this fine establishment while enjoying the amenities, hospitality and the white sandy beaches of this very private beach.1.5 kilometers long stretch of private white sand beach. Bohol beach club is situated in a very quite and peaceful ambiance, 15 mins. away from Alona Beach However, the Beach resorts is Old time style decor but very comfortable since, it is an exclusive! the resort was very well maintained and part of the beach had sea grass same as Alona Beach. I've been to many beaches but the beach of Bohol Beach Club it doesn't have the same as powdery white sand of Boracay.
Beauty of Palawan
Underwater adventure may be had in the Philippines too, more specifically in the islands of El Nido, Palawan. A world-class tourist destination, El Nido has been in the hot list of divers all over the world. With the pristine beaches, beautiful scenery, natural attractions, this Asian country is the place to be. A country which has everything you look for in a vacation, the Philippines is one hot spot. So the next time you plan on your summer trip, check out the best beaches the Philippines has to offer; have the time of your life, the Filipino way. -
Heaven Beach

Being a self-confessed beach bum, I cannot let a summer pass without plunging into the sea, and the best part of it? Walking down the shore line, feet dipped in shallow, moving waters, and the sunset—it’s superb.
Let it be known though that the same scene has been lifted off my memory from a chapter in my beach days in the Philippines; and I call it the place to be.

beach
The waves grew rougher when we left Cape Engano, and the dark clouds started to roll in. Most of us dozed off in the boat, and after what seemed to be 40 minutes, I heard our boatman telling us that we were approaching Anguib Beach.
